rear quarter chop help please

hey everyone

looking at doing a rear quarter chop on my d22, just wondering if anyone has got some tips at trick that might help me out

I found tin snips the way to go but I stop where the flare. Meets the guard Used some pinch weld to finish it off look neat . Diffenley worth it stop quarter bang up. Tub gone now got a tray

run masking tape to mark out your cut, then run a perminant marker under the bottom edge of the tape as a safety measure incase the tape comes off or if you are using a grinder with the new style super thin blade it may still burn a little and you will still have the black line from the marker as a guide.
