Rear seat storage...

Hi all,

i have a 2008 d22 and was thinking of removing the jack from behind the rear seat and replace it with a small storage rack the full width of the cavity that is behind the seat.

Somewhere from the recovery gear and maps and a new spot for the jack...

I know there is bugger all room behind the seat but if any one has tried this i'd be interested in seeing some pics and hearing how you did this.

Maybe i'm asking to much of a small cabin... without removing the rear seat all together.

There are guys on here with D22's who have mounted compressors and amps behind the rear seat so it's possible to do some forms of mounting you're just going to be limited to what you mount there.

Not sure where on here you will find pics but I do remember seeing an amp mounted vertically and a compressor mounted horizontally. I don't think you're asking too much to mount things there, just plan your build and make sure it all fits before drilling heaps of holes.
