Recovery points won't fit

I bought a set of recovery points for my Thai 2012 d22 but only the drivers side will fit the passenger side I will have to grind down a little metal flap on the body to bolt it down flush, anyone else have this issue?

Yeh I had the same problem with my jap 2012. it was both sides but passenger side was worse. Instead of grinding that lip off I just took a small notch out of the recovery point and just got a block and hammer and knocked that lip flat. Worked out all good. The older models didn't have that brace in the way like the newer ones do.

I made little stand-off brackets that fit between recovery points and chassis. Didnt want to take any meat off the points them selves.

My D22 also had a date with the grinder to get the recovery points on

Mine needed some 6mm spacers to make them fit, made them up
And all good.

I actually went the route of mounting a piece of 10mm angle then mounting the recovery hooks to them. Details in the thread somewhere.
