remapping my d22 ecu

my navara is only a week old and nearly done 500 kms, its blowing what i would call an excessive amount of smoke so i took it back to the dealer n said what the problem was with it smoking and they said they will fix it whatever it was. the service manager told me they will hook it to a computer and remap my ecu settings? has anyone had this done ?

Some one had this done just last week. There is another thread for it.
Same issue, too much smoke so they re mapped the ECU .
All you have to do is complain about excessive smoke.
Might give them a call.
