silent kits

hi guys new to the forum,

got a new d40 june last year, and my suspension is still squeaking. ( stock suspension). A mate had the same problem in his tritron, and mitsubishi offered hit a silent kit for it,
they placed rubber washes in between the leaf springs and it has stopped the noise. Has anyone had this problem in their d40? if so what did u do?

get yourself some greaseable shackles, this should stop your bushes from squeeking, replace the bushes whilst your there if need be

I sprayed my leaf springs with Silicone Lube (available from Bunnings in the tool section near the WD40).

Pfft, silent kit. Those little wear pads should be in the springs from factory.

I sprayed mine with lanolin spray (Inox) and it seems to have done the trick. Just my 2cents worth.
