hey guys just got myself a safari snorkel today and i'm gonna install it myself, just a quick question for those who did their's. it says that you need to seal the sensor with 'sensor safe silicone sealant' what silicone did you use? i was just gonna use a multipurpose silicone that you can buy from bunnings, or should i use this instead? http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/on...mL.aspx?pid=129938&menuFrom=51001#Description if there is another sealant i should use please let me know cheers!

I just did mine on the week end. I used permetex rtv sensor pretty sure thats wat its called. safe stuff it's blue.

Sikaflex 227 is what I used, it's for automotive applications and is sensor safe.

I think Sika do several sealants that are also sensor safe, at least one of them is a marine one.

I ha trouble getting to seal mine after my local Arb butcher didn't even try to seal it.
Used automotive gasket silicone sensor safe.
Thought I had it sorted, untill the mud holes last month!
