Standard alloy biggest tyre I can fit ????

Hey I've got som of the factory alloy 5 spoke to suit Spain models, don't know how to post pics.. Anyway was wondering what's the biggest size tyre I can fit on these?

as above, and that is on the limit, if you were going to the book right down to the mm they are actually a touch to big for a 7" rim but i have ran them and so has countless others with no probs.

You might find also that most Tyre shops might say they won't fit on the 7" rim ( too wide) so stand your ground

Yep, 285's are full limit. Some tyre shops wont, some do. I got mine from Bob Jane they were happy to fit them.

by rights 285 tyre should be on a 7.5" rim but as there are no rims made at that width some tyre service er on the side of caution (prob because they will try and sell you some rims) and say they wont fit them, if so then go to the next place because chances are they will fit them.
