So I got rid of the "mouse fart" for an "ELEPHANT'S BELLOW!!"
Picked up a Stebel Nautilus compact truck horn in black from Valkmotive in the Netherlands on ebay, complete with their wiring kit, for £28 delivered. It took me a bit longer than some to fit, but we'll made up with the result. (Something to do with dropping the securing bolt for the horn into the engine bay and having to take the skid plate off to retrieve it.
) Have to say space where the original horn lived was tight and the plastacine bracket was a bit of a surprise after seeing pictures posted by other UK members, but once the bracket was reshaped the horn and compressor tucked in snuggly. The Valkmotive wiring kit was a great help and with a packet of heat shrink from the autofactors provided all that was needed to power the horn up.
Accidentally set the alarm off today " Ouch!!!"
