I've recently noticed a considerable change in ride quality, not sure what could be the reason.

I have OME suspension, are shockies serviceable and do the fluid levels need to be checked? It could even be psychological haha but since buying the car 4 months ago it rode alot smoother and didn't take bumps as roughly as it does now, cheers if anyone has an idea!

Those shockers are not serviceable, they are sealed.

Could be a binding type issue - check for any fluid coming out of the top of the shock (where the chrome rod comes out).
Could be you were stoked at gettin new suspension that you over looked the harshness. :) having years worth of ride assessment experience, it is very subjective and is best not to know what goes in there are you can sometimes get lost.

Anyway. Hopefully there's nothing wrong!

A sudden change points to a failure of some sort. Have you tried the bounce test (putting all of your weight on the corner of the vehicle then getting off to see how the suspension bounces)? If the shocks are ok it'll settle within a bounce or two.

A few things to check:

-tyre pressures (are they all correct, have you changed them recently)
-leaking shocks (although this would not normally result in hard ride - would wallow)
-broken rear leaf - are the rear leaves sitting on the "helpers"
