STX 550 Sports Bars

Hey all

I have just bought a set of stx 550 sports bars and put them on my ST

whats a good way to wire the little brake light on the sporta bars?

There are some threads on this. I wired mine into the trailer light harness so that I didn't mess with the factory wiring.

Cheers bro and how did u figure out what wire to tap into?

If the trailer plug wiring follows the normal standards you will find a brake and earth cable based on the standard trailer plug colour chart (don't have it with me right now but the google knows). Use a tester to confirm power to the cable when pressing the brake.

i purchased the wiring loom for it from nissan. not the cheapest way to do it but it plugs straight in to the left side brake light assembly and is great for factory looking install.

Thanks carro, didn't know there was one otherwise would have gone the same option. What was the price if you don't mind me asking?
