I have done a fair bit of research into what truck to buy and i admit i dont do much off road hard core driving but for me when most of my work is towing and traveling dirt roads and tracks to get to where i am going the 550 is ideal.
I looked at all the other dual cabs and drove them all,spoke to people that owned them and the only 3 i was prepared to buy were the Navara,BT50 and the Ranger.
All bloody good units but for me it came down to personal preference,as i wanted the power and all the luxuries the 550 has.
Saying that the Ranger looks nice and is a great ute but the BT lost me in the looks department.
Its your money so but what you want to buy.
