Tub difference

Hi guys,

just curious, is there any physical difference between the tubs on a 3.0dt d22 and the 2.5dt d22? reason i ask is i think i want to get a hard cover tonneau and i don't want to get one that doesn't fit.

From looking at photos and cars they do look identical but i just want someone to confirm for me

Not 100% sure on the earlier D22's mate but i know after about 2009 the d22 tubs are 100mm longer..

The Jap mate D22's all use the same tray, series one tailgate is slightly different though.

The Thai made D22's have a 100mm longer tray.

so assuming my 2008 d22 2.5 is a jap built one it has the 100mm shorter tray.

the new D22 models from 2009 (I think) onwards..

The ones with the Tail gate the same as the Series one D22.

All the ones with the tailgate with the black surround are all Japan made. Series 1 D22's are Japan made aswell but Thailand didn't go to the Jap tailgate.
