Underwater housings

does anyone have any experience with using underwater camera housings?
What brand & why??
Im wanting to use one for a canon DSLR type camera.

how deep do you want to go? B&H http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ have a lot of top quality water housing for dslr's and their not cheap either but my honest opinion i'd get a point and shoot that has underwater capabilities for a couple hundred bucks
