mine has a GME TX4400 in it - although I'm yet to figure it out. I replaced the mic on it as the one I bought it with was shot, but I still can't get my voice transmitted. For example:
if I sit my handheld one on my lap and talk into it, i hear it come through the 4400. if i talk into the 4400 it only sounds like someone is keying the mic.
Any ideas?

Sorry Bung-Eye, I only know how to turn mine on and off, adjust the squelch and scan ATM! I hope you get it worked out mate.
I installed a Undien UH500sx with the RFI Explorist antenna package.
