Wiring question from a dummy

So, I have the redarc bcdc, I have the cabling for the front to back run, and I need to put a 40amp fuse or circuit breaker in it.
Question is, how do you get a fuse into a cable run when the cable is as thick as your finger, and fuse holders all are little, fiddly things with spaghetti for wires?

Go to the audio section in whatever Auto shop (not supercrap). There is a lot of choices for large expensive fuses for 0 or 00 gauge cable.
I would get a manually resettable circuit breaker from jaycar and use that.
