hey mates im new here and to the navara
i have a 1996 navara d21 4x4 and the tub is pretty bad i want to get a new one but i want one with a hard lip for work
but the d21 u cant get hard lips 1st iv been told a d22 tub will fix but dont know year i can go to
 
re Tub

I fitted a D22 tub to my D21. The chassis points were the same, however I needed to add a thicker rubber spacer, approx 10mm in order for the tub to clear the chassis rails near the rear axle.

Longer bolts and nuts and away you go. The earlier D22 have a similar profile to the D21, whereas the later D22 tub is wider in the middle of the tub.

If you don't worry about the extra 20+mm protruding on either side than it is definitely do-able.
