    EGR Blank noise

Hi guys. Well it mus have been leaking air. I removed the blanking plate, resealed with glue and re-attached. All seems fine. Thanks for the input and assistance.

    EGR Blank noise

Thanks guys. Manning, the glue only suggested that it seals at a certain temperature, not after a certain time... Old Tony, thank you, will do but after a look, it seems that the noise is coming from the blanking plate on the turbo side (i.e. the passenger side). I will re-do and see if that...

    EGR Blank noise

Hi guys, Did the EGR blank today and followed Dilmah's pipe removal sticky thread. I swapped the hose over, blanked off both ends and used some exhaust cement to seal the gasket. However, it is now making a noise under throttle that I can only describe as a mix between a turbo whistle and...

    Unichip thoughts

That's good info guys. I realised that you lot were advising me on places in Brissy because I hadn't updated my bio in 3 years. I am in Cairns, so if anybody knows of a good mob to talk to up here about tuning, I am all ears. I have found a couple of places but if someone has personal experience...

    Unichip thoughts

Thanks for the reply fellas. Happy John, I accept that reflash is the kid on the block but isn't it dependent upon the factory ECU? I have seen that some factory tunes cannot be overridden with reflash. The fall back is then installing a plug and play chip. Mike1303, I do accept that most chips...

    Unichip thoughts

Ok so let me ask another question. Can we get remapping software for the factory ECU that is comparable to a piggy back plug-and-play system? Ideally, we want a safe but responsive adjustment to injector pulse, injector timing and boost levels, more so that just rail pressure. So, can someone...

    Unichip thoughts

After some searching through the forum, the Unichips seem to be the duck's nuts for piggy back ECU remapping. However, there is no way I can justify the money >$1600 for a local to supply and fit and I don't want a cheap chip that solely increases rail pressure. So my options are to follow the...

    Intercooler Advice

Agree with above. The intercooler is a support mod for the other engine upgrades you do. ARE also offer a highly regarded product. I will do similar once the other mods are done. Good luck.

    wat would u do first

Thanks again Bods. I will have a look at Dilmahs thread. I think the biggest hurdle is fitting an upgraded box AND keep the dual battery set up. I plan to rip out the second battery and put in a deep cycle.

    wat would u do first

Thanks Bods. It was quite a read, only to find that no-one completed on a 2.5L.

    4wd suspension

Hi Zordo, I have a 2011 D22. I am intersted in upgrading my suspension and lift her 2". However, I want to be mindful of future upgrades. For example I aim to get a steel bar down the track and to be towing a boat by year's end. It seems EFS have a good package for D22s. I am wondering if it...

    Bullbars

Just looking at the ARB website [URL="http://www.arb.com.au/products/arb-protection-equipment/bull-bars/deluxe-bull-bars/3438100/"], they list a "Deluxe style combination bar". It must be a generic bar similar to the Deluxe Bar, but without some bling... I have the white D22 also and would go...
