    TDC Power Chip off eBay...

I went through 2 of them. They are OK performance wise but both failed. I originally bought 2, one for the D22 and one for my Patrol. Save your money and buy a Chipit, set it on F2T5 and you will be a happy man. Do not worry about a boost controller when you get the Chipit, just fit the chip.

Front Wheel play and Knocking Noise - D22

Have you checked that the front torsion bars have not sagged to the point where you are not far from riding on the front bump stops?

    should I replace torsion bars??

The factory bars are nothing short of Junk. If you wind them up the will be as stiff as, you lose any flex that is left. Buy a set of torsion bars to match the rear springs that you are putting in.

Squeak since fitting 2 inch lift

Is the squeak in the rear? Re torque the U Bolt nuts.

    Cracking sound under full lock

I had exactly the same thing on my 2008 CRD D22 and it became worse. The torsion bars were stuffed but I had them wound up and this fixed it a bit. I then fitted tough dog torsion bar with correct height and it is completely gone now. The tough dog rear springs unfortunately are not as good...

    2011 d22 2" lift what brand should i get?

I have top dog. Torsion bars are great but I do not recommend their rear springs. EFS seem the go for the price.

    ChipIt chips

The Chipit does not run the MAP interception on the D22 CRD. That is why people fit the manual boost controller to increase overall boost. I have been running the Chipit and EGR Block with a standard exhaust on my D22 and it hauls along. I did run an atomic boost controller for a while with the...

    Rubber Vs Nolathane

The standard bars are such crap that winding them up gives a very harsh ride compared to replacing them with something decent that gives the height and a good ride.

    What springs and torsion bars?

No, but I have Tuff Dog bars and springs. Lifted and rides/handles great.

    DCchip vs Tuneit Chip

I run the Chipit unit on my D22 CRD as well as my Patrol and I cannot speak highly enough of their product. It wakes up the D22 (Block off the EGR as well). Chalk and Cheese...

    Rubber Vs Nolathane

I just fitted near Tuff Dog springs in the rear and fitted the synthetic. I put greasable shackles and pins in so I can regularly pump waterproof bearing grease into them. The ute rides and handles a whole lot better. In my humble opinion if you cannot grease the bush, leave it rubber.

    Which Leaf Springs?

I would seriously avoid "winding up" the crapo torsion bars that come on the D22. Buy some units which actually do the job. See my reply post in the photo of steering damper post.

    BEHOLD!!! Pics of steering dampener

I went down the same road. Fitted the Rancho damper and it was good for a while but then it "knocked" when turning when I was going slow. When I became serious and had a good look underneath, I realised that my 08 CRD was just about riding on the bump stops most of the time. The standard...

West Coast Suspension V tough Dog? Need your thoughs

I have just fitted tough dog torsion bars and their comfort rear springs with poly bushes and greasable pins and shackles. I have Oztec shocks which are the same as EFS (same factory). The handling and ride is absolutely fantastic. D22's should come with it standard.
