    2006 st-r d22

2006 st-r d22 for sale "SOLD" My Navara is now up for sale. We are replacing it with a BT50 so we can tow a heavier van. It is listed on Gumtree here. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/maudsland/cars-vans-utes/2006-nissan-navara-ute/1073214983 Some may remember my Nav from a couple of runs...

D40 money sucking piece of shit

Haven't been on the forum for quite a while but just read all through this thread. I also believe there are the odd lemons or Friday builds but in general, the Navs are as good as any utes and better than a lot of them. I have had my D22 3.0L since new March 2007 and the only warranty work...

    Taking boat to Tassie

We paid just over $1600 (seniors rates) to take our 14' Jayco and Navara over earlier this year. We did a day trip south and just used the recliners as we spent the day wandering the deck and had a cabin for the north bound trip at night. Seas very calm both ways. Camp ground at Cradle Mt...

G'day from an Old Fart from the Hunter Valley

G'day Cage, as one old fart to another, (I've been retired 8 years) the D22 is a great vehicle for the go far rather than go fast driver. I have had mine for nearly 7 years and have towed our van from one side of the country to the other and back plus a lot of trips around Queensland (I too...

    Poptop in garage

G'day Knickers. I have an Outback Expanda pop top and there is no way it will fit through a normal garage opening. I had a shed built with 2700 walls but the roller door still does not open enough to get the van in so I had to put a lean to on the side of the shed and dug the floor down...

What Camping Gear for the MUSTER??

I'm like Tony, the comfort of a van, even a little one like mine. I'm too old to sleep on the ground. Will have my Webber babyQ as well. Plus whatever other comforts necessary. :toilet:

Who's coming to the Muster at Janowen 18-20 Oct

It's been a while since I posted but still have been lurking. I decided it would be good to meet up with some of the members again so I've sent off the rego form and paid up for myself and wife. Still not into truck destroying tracks but enjoyed the Condamine River run a couple of years back...

    'Whooshing' noise just started

Here are some photos of the pipe just before the turbo that blew on my D22 making the very noise you describe.

Squeak since fitting 2 inch lift

I had new stronger springs fitted which lifted the truck 60 to 70mm and had an annoying squeak for 18,000km on our trip to WA. Took it back to Zordo and he dropped the springs and found that the second leaf has a curved end which wrapped over the shackle and rubbed on the sub frame. He hit it...

    D22 snorkel

I fitted the genuine snorkel and the instructions in there were NOT to relocate the blinker but to move the wire to it as it passed through a hole in the side wall that was to be used by the snorkel,

    diff oil?

Not sure about 09 model but my 06 D22 was doing this 12 months ago. I read up on Limited Slip Diffs and found that if LSD oil is not used, the clutch plates in the LS diff will grind when turning, which is when the clutch plates come into play. Replacing the oil with LSD oil (from Supercheap)...
