How are people in cruisers, bt-50, ranger, hilux getting a pinging type sound from there exhaust when coming off the accelerator? Sorry I don't exactly know how to explain the sound!

I am having a similar problem tonight, I changed the filter in my d22 tonight and it just will not prime up again, I didn't put diesel on my o-ring, is there a reason you say to?

Thanks mate, it was the handbrake part inside the drum itself that had actually rusted and seized. Sorted now with a bit of lanolin and vice grips to get it moving freely

Thanks rumpig, ended up sorting it out. I never gave the rear drums attention after beach work so basically the hand brake seized on so I spent the weekend pulling everything apart and freeing it up

2006 d22, rear brakes seem to be sticking, my driveway has the slightest slope on it which my car used to roll down by itself. I can't even push it down anymore. Any ideas?
