The fault code 31, is logged as an ECU fault. But in reality 98% of the time is a poor earth/live connection. check and clean all engine bay earths, battery terminal, starter and alternator connections and then erase the code.

You need to take the cluster apart and replace the charging system diode, these can fail and give a low voltage to the alternator causing a no-charge situation. To confirm this is the cause of your fault, idle the vehicle (warning lamp on, alternator not charging) then apply 12v from the battery...

Haha, Possibly. Id say it was more likely for seat belt warning! Cant help you with ID'ing that relay, maybe trace the tracks back to the pin no's and go from there?

The new RX boards are sealed round the bottom of the boards, making them a PITA to remove, unless you just attack it with a grinder and fit an over-rail liner to hide the hideous gouges you've just created...

Hi, Did Nissan give you any indication of the code? Im assuming P0335, and you mean EML light? Before we go any further, need some more info on your vehicle, model? year? k's? The more info the better as different models/year ranges tend to have different inherent issues!
