It stands to reason it doesn't work. All this unit is is an isolating relay. The only way you can charge the aux battery effectively is a dc-dc charger, an ac-dc charger or an alternator that knows it isn't smart. Cut the green wire. All good. Job done. No extra cost. Foxy
