16's on 17 inch rims

thats a really good thread you showed me cheers bud, also just got mates 15's with 33's of course wouldn't different stud pattern. will put on 16inch rims with 33's the size now is 255's standard with 17 inch rims.
i have got a 2 inch OME lift but the tyres will fit with just a little rubbing.
might get mickey t's maxxiss or km2's ??

you can possibly fit a KM2 in 285/70r17 on stock wheels since its a pretty small 33" tyre according to the US site should be legal to fit to a 17x7.5" wide wheel http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire...ud-terrain-t-a-km2&hubName=Off Road#techspecs
mind you the overall diameter of 832mm will still make it illegal even under ncop regulations and they could hit your control arms being wider on the same offset that you already have, i don't have a d40 to check so I'll leave that one up to you.
