Hi everyone
Just wanted some opinions on aftermarket intercoolers brands, sizes etc..are there any good ones on the Internet? What setups have ppl put together to make a nice kit..
Cheers mitch

The HPD kit is a really nice bit of gear.

But its important to realise that just doing the cooler upgrade wont give any big power gains on a navara..
Ive previously worked for a company that has pushed this nonsense and its a shame that the few companies that do make upgrades talk such crap.

They dont run a temp sensor post cooler so they dont know when you do the upgrade.
The stock cooler is good enough for short on boost squirts to keep the temps down..

Its when you are doing longer pulls (towing), running more boost, and have the fueling matched for the lower intercooler temps that it really comes to life.

So it is a little more involved that just bolting it in and hoping for the best....

And if they try to tell you the ecu will 'Self adjust the tune' to suit the intercooler well thats a load of baloney. Ive fitted many dozzens of various types of intercoooler upgrades and the ecu has never changed its tune to suit, regardless of how many km's they do.
