Just a few more pictures of the drawers at their current stage. All that's left to do is fit some locking T-handles, scribe and fit the top and then carpet them.
All of which will most likely happen in 3 weeks time when i start back at work.

Fitted some additional led reverse lights a few months back. Their great, i can now reverse out of the driveway without worrying if i am going to hit one of the family cars across the street anymore.
They are currently tapped off the tail light loom to automatically come on when in reverse but will also have a direct power feed through a diode and switch on the dash for when we are camping.

^ Know that feeling.

Use to like riding my bike in Singleton as its flat.

Thats where the ex lived anyway.

Maitland is to hilly.

Sounds like you need to start riding again Dave, even the Mrs doesn't whine about the Maitland hills anymore.

I dont deny that. Haha. Need to burn a kilo or 2 off my gut to.

Hit 80kg the other day.

Hey hey.... what are you trying to say... I just bought a caravan.

nice lights to Andrew

Your getting old Brad. Haha.

Take it to the next Muster and Ill retract that comment if I can crash on the floor.

Did a little more to the car this weekend. I recently acquired another deep cycle battery that was slightly smaller than the last so that has now been moved up under the bonnet.

In between jobs at work i found the time to finish off the cargo drawers. Had to fit the locks, lacquer the whole lot and put the carpet on. I am pretty happy with how it all finished up.

Now i just have to sort out a decent power setup in the tub to run the fridge and accessories.

It has been a bit over a year since i have done anything significant to the Navara, in that time i have gotten married and bought our first home. Now that were getting back on top of things i was recently let loose at the Maitland camping show where i bought a winch bar, winch, driving lights and some recovery gear.

I opted to install all this myself, whilst it was a little more involved than first thought I am pleased with the outcome and dollars saved in doing so. I also started making some front recovery points today, thanks BP90 for the idea.

Next on the list is new suspension, long range tank and bash plates.

So I recently managed to pick up a secondhand Long Range Automotive fuel tank for the Navara, I had be procrastinating on whether to get one for a while but when this one came up cheap i grabbed it, i got around to fitting it last weekend with the help of a mate.

A big thumbs up to Long Range Automotive in Melbourne for supplying me with the installation instructions and the secondary tank brackets that the wrecker managed to lose. All up it cost me a bit less than $600 for the tank, paint, new brackets and a full load of fuel.

One thing i have noticed though is the tank seems to vibrate a little (against the floor-pan i think), has anyone else had issues like this?
