bad noises

hey all,
i recently found out that when i'm in my drive way and reverse out of it turning hard right (so the car turns out to the farthest side of the road) that there is a loud scraping noise as soon as the front wheels get off my driveway and onto the road itself. it only happens for about a second and it has only happened 3 times.

i didnt bottom out or anything, thats for sure.

any ideas guys?

The tyres aren't hitting the inner guard at all are they? Does this happen when the suspension is compressed or can you make happen again when on flat ground?

Grease your steering stops, the plastic caps on the bolts have probably worn out.

yer, they've worn out. i dont see a grease nipple on it? hmm

No grease nipples mate, you just smear it on the top of the bolts, and on the steel pads on the lower control arms. Is yours still under warranty? If it is, Nissan may change them on the next service if you mention it to them, but they may charge you for the stoppers since they are probably a wear and tear type of item.

its under warranty, still hasnt had the 10K service.
