Cables from engine bay to Cabin

The blanks are hard to remove but they will come out.
A normal switch won't fit in there because they are very deep recesses, you would have to mount the switch to the blank.
I was thinking of cutting the top off the blank and retro fitting the switch to it, but they fit perfectly flush in the blanks on either side of the steering wheel.

The inner guard thing is called a splash guard.

Use a screwdriver or a butter knife to pop that vent blank off. Thats where i have my two switches mounted is in that. The other option is if your really lucky you might be able to get your hand up enough to push it from behind.

Slot must take a factory push button style switch like the rear demister one. Priced the factory driving light switch from Nissan and they wanted $130 for it!!!
I'll check it out and see what I can come up with.
