D21 Nav 88 model king cab - Surging Issue

Hi guys im having some issues with the z24 in my d21 - when travelling up hills it will start to surge severly and sometimes almost conk out. On the flats,small hills and downhills it purrs.T his has been posted on aus4wd action aswell and one of the members there said its possibly a float issue? Thoughts?

Carby float needs adjusting ?

fixed this , it was the fuel filter! probably the first place i should have checked!
