D22 Air Cleaner seal perished

More a warning than anything folks....changing the air filter on my 2006 D22 I noticed the foam seal on the air filter housing was EXTREMELY PERISHED.
Sold it yesterday so forgot pics...

CLARK RUBBER for a length of 9x7mm soft black rubber and all is well again.
Cut it long and squish the two ends back together. A dab of glue if you feel the need should see it last longer than the original..

Which seal was perished? I thought the important seal was on the filter itself.

Its the seal for the lid of the airbox. Mine was the same and yeah fixed with a bit of foam from clarky's.
