D40 Custom Airbox

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at welding up a custom airbox for my D40. Stuck on what shape to do, and overall dimesions..
Any ideas on what to look at for ideas? I've seen a couple on the Navlife FB page but the more inspo the better.

biggest panel filter you can fit in there. common mistake i see is using round filters and not having enough to space in the box for proper air flow.

.... and of course, follow the original design layout - air comes in underneath and moves up through the filter and out to the turbocharger. This reduces the amount of water ingested by the engine during rain.
