D40 ecu reset

I had to do another reset today due to the problem in my last post.
This time I unplugged the chip before I did it. I went for a drive and the problem was gone. I might leave it out for a few days to see what happens and then plug it back in. Then I'll look at the remap.

Will I need a code for the radio if I disconnect the battery ?

Very likely. It should also reset your trip meters.
