Replaced the flywheel,clutch etc on 2008 D40 YD25. Already had a new OEX starter motor to fit as well as I thought it was the problem. After fitting the starter again after new clutch it did the same thing as before i.e crunching and finally not working at all. Returned it to Repco on warranty and exhanged it for a new one of the same brand and model. This new one has done the same thing after 700ks. Before fitting I checked the flywheel and it turned by hand. So my question are these brands a dud if so what other starter is recommended.
