dash fuse blowing - SOLVED

Hey all need some diagnostics help, my str keeps blowing the meter fuse I have changed the cluster over with a good condition second hand one as I thought it may have been caused by the cluster but I found out today its not im just wondering if anyone else has had the same or similar problem and what the cause was

had a look through the manual.
there is two fuses for the meter, one off battery and one switched.
does the fuse blow straight away when you put it in or straight away when you turn ignition on ?
if it blows any old time then possibly you have a loom rubbing somewhere and shorting out.
unfortunately it looks like that fuse runs quiet a few things.

Have you changed or worked on the radio recently? Some models of Navara share the earth point between instrument cluster and audio units.

Check the wiring on the side of the gearbox for any damage, especially the speedometer wiring.

Alright cheers heaps ill have a look at them tomorrow and see what I can work out

Pretty sure the tail lights are on the same circuit.

Problem solvered guys turns out it was the 4wd sensor rubbing on the tramsfer case thanks heaps for your inputs
