Different engine number on a D22

Hi Forum members,

I'm new here, but I am a member on the navara forum UK.
I wanted to give it a try on this one, bcuz I don't know what kind of engine I got in my D22.

I'm from Suriname, and just recently bought a imported Navara D22 outlaw 2003 from the UK.
the guy I bought the pick-up from told me that the engine has been replaced with another one.
I know for a fact that the D22 have some problem with conrod bearings and the bolts. so I thought I'd buy the parts for doing the mod.
but when I got the car the engine number was different from all the engines that have the problems. In the Uk the troubled engines number are YD25DDTI219661 but mine is YD25 and underneath QED (both stamped vertical).
so I don't know if my engine already had the mods done, and it doesn't put out that much power, doesn't go past 80miles/h.

can someone help me please, becuz I'm at a lost here.

Where did the engine come from ?

The UK ?

If it was me Id pull the sump off and check the bearings anyway, cheaper then a new motor.
