egr mod question

hi ive just done the egr mod, i blanked it off at the pipe on the passanger side behind the radiator..my question is when i started my car and let it run for a bit an then turned it off i could hear a noise for about 3-4 seconds after it turned off it sort of sounded like a quiet printer sort of thing. i was just wondering if the d22s allways do this or is this something to do with putting the plate in???

Mate mine does the same i think its the electric egr valve going through its paces.It is normal

no worries i was just wondering cause i hadnt heard it before untill i did the mod but in saying that i hadnt really tried listening to the motor after i turned it off before hand.. thanks
