Egt wiring

Just wondering where bouts everyone runs there wiring for the Egt controller? As I have a chipit setup, there is some big plugs got to go through the firewall was thinking bout drilling hole in the passenger side firewall. Poking them through maybe just getting some sealant and just sealing up once wires are through. Any thoughts..???

No idea for the D40 but I just stuck mine through where a wiring loom was going through. Takes a bit of effort but works well enough.

Yeh had a look at a couple like that it's a pain the arse I can't fit my arms in there.

I used a 20cm piece of fencing wire with the EGT sensor wires taped to the end. Just make sure you smooth any sharp edges. Worked out alright I stuck it through a bit and went around to see if I could feel it in the cab. Once I could I pulled it through and done.
