Hey all,
Havent posted on here before, normally just read up on everyone else's. Planning on doing a few mods to the Nav and thought i would share.

Just bought the Raptor U-Pol tub liner paint after seeing heaps of you guys using it, did have a plastic tub aftermark sort which has scratched away the paint in some parts. So looking at ripping it out, fixing it all up and making her look like new.

Bout a air compressor from Super Cheap, the Ridge Ryder 160L/min one, it was on special and the design and construction looked outstanding. Going to mount it behind the back seat, which fits snug. Just trying to work out the best way to wire it up. Was thinking maybe straight from battery, fuse into cab to a switch on the dash then follow through to the back seat. Read heaps about not to wire into the 12v cigarette socket cause it draws too much. Any thoughts to the wiring?

Will definetly post some pics whilst doing these installs. Look forward to hearing from you all and may even one day out on the tracks.

Welcome to the forum, good to see another local on here!

Cable over that distance drawing what, 20A or so ... should be around 6 sq mm but 8 is better. Don't look at the amp rating on the spool, none of the manufacturers can make up their minds. Not sure how you'd run the cable in the D22 but I'm sure someone'll come along and help you there.
