Fresh air intake

Hi all
I am just about to put in a new blower resistor but dont want to fit it yet as there seems to be some water getting into the system. This is what caused the original resistor to rot and shit itself. Question is where is the fresh air intake and how can i stop any water getting in there?

Make sure your evaporator condensate drain tube isn't blocked / blanked.
