Height Diff KingCab Vs DualCab??

Looking over the specs of the two, the Kingcab is a full 1" lower from factory than the Dualcab.

I'm wondering if anyone knows where this inch is gained / lost?

It's not wheel & tyre sizes.

It is lower so the (generally) shorter sex can load more hairdresser stuff in the tub

its not the diff. The ramp over gets my kingcab hooked up every time, yet dual cabs will drive through without touching.

I have a 2" lift, run MTZ's and basically have given up. Unless its a drive through blackberry / lantana, I just take the landcruiser (Please don't ban me, I will bring "Red" to the muster)

No, maybe not?? The nissan spec sheet says the RX and the King cabs are 1" lower, but it says the dual cabs are higher and you can get dual cabs built in Thailand.

To me it looks like the RX dual cab is same as the King Cab at 205mm so I to think it may be the chassis. There is a 10 mm difference in overall height between the K/C lower and D/C but that's probably because of the shorter roof line and and the rake of these trucks.

Did spot the King cab is 150 Kg lighter than a Spanish built ST. Wouldn't of thought there would be that much in it. That offsets the 14Kw power deficit to some extent.

Yeah, I guess it must be the chassis. I initialy thought it would just be wheels & tyres, but it's not that. I'd love to see where the difference is.
