Has anyone on here had a problem with coolant loss from the front of the engine, it's leaking very slowly from the cover (water chamber) above the water pump, this cover looks like it is just bolted on but I can not see a gasket only goo where the plastic rocker cover bolts to it
Has anyone removed this chamber and how easy is it to do,this chamber is the one where radiator hose returns back to the rad,and it's bolted above and beside the water pump
Thanks

There is a rubber o ring inside the front cover where the water enters the front of motor.... In this pic u can see the sqaure seal section above the water pump

Thanks very much. For that photo,is it a big job to replace the o,ring as now you have shown me I am sure that's the area it's leaking from

Havnt done it ... But id say cross over pipe off... Tappet cover off.... Radiator out .... Fan out ... Belts off.... Front of motor off which is just a few bolts then your there

Try lightly tightening the bolts around the leak .... Remember it alloy so not too tight or you will hate yourself
