it does! Pressed them out today and are waiting for the new set of boots to arrive now!

Ok! -what a shite of a job ! seriously the most dirtiest f'n job one can do on a car!
Had to replace an outer boot so I thought I would do the 4 when I lowered the front diff. The diff drop did wonders for the 25mm it was lowered.
As it is now the cv shaft just misses the inner cv cup as you will see in the pics. I thought whilst I have the boots of and the 10gallons of grease removed from them I'd re fit them to see what clearances the cv's have now and if they will bind... well it was all good as you will see in the pics and had at least 20mm of free play at the end of the cv's whilst level so all good there and no binding:) yeay
I have added some pics of how I re greased the cv's after they where thoroughly cleaned.. The pin rollers at the inner end where easy to clean but a barstardo to re pack ! I used a needle attachment for a small grease gun to do the job.
The outer end was a prick to get clean as you cant pull this end apart?? correct me if i'm wrong! I used karo and finished of with petrol and the air gun to get them clean.. They where the easiest to re pack. You will see in the pics that you angle the shaft to one side to fill/re pack with grease keep pumping that grease in until grease starts coming out from places round the cv joint and then tilt to other side and repeat.. turn shaft in full rotation and at all angles for a few turns then repeat grease packing. do this until you have filled the cv cavity completely.. so there you go fellow d22ers we have a cheap diff drop now- I have replace all the rubber bushing/mounts in the front diff cross members with solid one's. You can have these type or you can go with the stock after market ones .. contact me and I will give you all the details of the shop that doing this diff drop..

pump that grease in..
