I'de recommend shannons. They have always been a pleasure to deal with, but I haven't made a claim with them.

They cover you on and off road.

My renewal is due and the cheapest is aami at 1079, then RACQ at 1200.

I think I will be going aami, fully covered anywhere offroad apparently.

Try Coles insurance. I was with AAMI and thought I was getting a good deal. Coles was heaps cheaper and covered offroad. I made sure of it. Can't hurt to call.

See my earlier post. That's all accessories to.

I'm with Shannon's for all my vehicles they cover on and off road all mods aslong as u tell them they r on the vehicle and have never had an issue with a claim plus they offer great price and great discount if I have home and contents insurance aswell

For starters if you look at Coles's PDS it states that they sell your private information off to third parties which in my opinion is fuk'd. No insurance company can gaurentee that they are the cheapest because each insurer will specialise in insuring certain types of people depending on the re-insurance and underwriting guidlines.

Youi litterally has the highest level of customer service and pretty much the fastest claims turn around time as well but they arn't for every1 although they are getting alot cheaper for modded cars including 4wd's and they do cover offroad as most insurers do.

To the guy with an agreed value on a D22 of $40,00 it's probably not a good thing, companie's that offer stupidly high agreed values tend to repair vehicles rather than write them off as they will never pay the higher amount, thats why a fair agreed value is always safer, not to mention that if you read most companies PDS's they state that they can still choose to "replace" your car if it is written off even if you have an agreed value.

I am personally insured with Just car with all of my mods covered with an agreed value of $33000, I am 26 and am paying $700/yr

I did the on line quote with Youi a while back. The questioning was invasive in my opinion and I have been rating one for years with no claims and low risk. Irrespective, The premium was high. Ended up with AAMI. Our other car is with Comminsure who are very competitive.

Im with Shannons for everything.

Shed got broken into and they paid out of the stolen split system with in the week. The split system had decreased in value so instead of swapping it they gave me the cost of the receipt so I could get a newer model.

Shannons may be not good to some (including myself), i just looked at their website and they state that it cant be your daily driver.

Ring Shannon's they do insure daily driven as 2 of my 3 cars with them are daily driven including my 4wd Navara with all it's mods

No 1 company can be the cheepest as they all insure different people and are set up different. I work at youi and have sold well over 1Mil in cover and save people thousands every day, but as I said we are not for every1, the questions aren't invasive, there smart and in alot of cases they reduce risk which reduces premium...... We answer our calls within 20 seconds and our customer service and claims service shits on the rest which is probably why Youi is the insurer of choice in Australia

Thanks Insane for clearing that up, to be honest i just looked at their website and it stated it there, i may give them a call as well as youi and see where i end up.
Sunny ill give youi a call and see what happens.

Cheers boys

I gave Youi the flick because what I was sold wasnt delivered....they assumed I wouldnt check. they also assumed they were talking to an idiot when I questioned them about some discrepancies... stating every one in the industry charges for a windscreen claim??

never ever again !!

BMGTZ we cover windscreens mate and if asked for we offer a $50 windscreen excess, our windscrren replacements usually happen on the first day of the claim. We don't assume anything mate, maybe there was just a communication error or a human error which happens... i could talk all day about other companies and what they do and don't do but couldn't be bothered

nah no errors.... it was just a rude bloke at the other end of the phone that treated me like an idiot. that happens every where right?

Every company has twats, and unfortunatly you only need one bad experience to write a company off.

Youi wouldn't insure my MR2 so I didn't bother calling them for my Nav

Hey Sunny thanks for the offer but i ended up going with Shannons, they were good in the past to deal with on my Monaro and they offered me a fairly good price which covers all my mods on the ute.
