Lift kit and types?

Hi I'm woundering about lift sizes and types to match. I have a 2005 d22 navara. Would I go for a 3" lift or 2"?, 32s or 33s. Would go 4wding once a month what's the best advise?

I have a 2 inch lift from terrain tamer, still have the standard wheels on it, have been places I thought I would need to bust out the winch but made it through, never bottomed out, is good for highway driving as well.

As others have said 2" lift and 265/75/16's go well. If you want anything more I suggest swapping to a live axle vehicle.
