new mods

hey all..

Bought a 06 d22 str navara around two years ago and have slowly been saving the pennies to make it a better weekend rig..
so far ive added an arb canopy, gme uhf, cooper discoveres s/t rubber on the standard rims, 240 lightforce spotties and a 2" old man emu lift kit..

Now im looking to spend a bit more money on it, was thinking maybe a 3" exhaust and chip? wondering how much difference these two mods really make?

check out the 3" exhaust and low rpms thread in the d40 engines sections, heaps of info there. egr mod is also a very simple mod to do and not costly at all. just look around the site and use the search forum. im sure you will find most of the stuff you want to know is already there.

Exhaust makes a huge difference.

Cant comment on the chips as I dont have one.

heading down to the local and getting a qoute on the exhaust tomorrow..

chip will most likely get put off until the warranty runs out..

dave how'd you go hooking up your head unit, do it yourself? went to fit speakers in the backdoors then realised the wires are run there but not hooked up.. have a pioneer unit to go in but its been put in the too hard basket lately

There is no plug and play harness for my new stereo so I payed to get it done.
