I saw this today at a new clients home. Basic 10ft camper trailer fitted with a domestic household split system air con fitted to the drawbar and wired to an old extension lead plug. I dare say that box would fill with water at highway speed, note the unsafe wiring in the poor quality pic. What a deathtrap.

John, it's mounted the wrong way to provide any cooling effect while they're driving! What if it's a hot day, and they want to just set the cruise control and clamber into the van for a nice cold drink?
