Hey guys

Has anyone measured the compressed eye to eye measurement when the stock rear leaf is bottomed out against the bump stops???

Looking at putting 10 inch 5125 bilstein shocks with a near 400mm closed and 658 open

wondering if i can squeeze them without hitting destroying the shocks or extending the bump stops.

Cheers Matt

658mm open is too long unless you have approx 4" lift

I have helper coils and shackles which sit just over 3.5 inch lift (sus) with the stock leafs that sat naturally high and a 1 inch tray lift ( irrelevant) front is 2 and 2.

Looking a 10 or 9 inch. But the 9 sit just under 620mm

I no i should head out and just test the compression and eye to eye but ive moved to the city which makes it hard to find something to flex on besides smart cars, scooters and micras. :/
i don't think they would be to happy if i had a crack.

surely someone has measured this

Can't help exactly but I've become aware that gq, gu patrol rear shocks fit d22 rear mounts and I've seen a pic of a d22 that had patrol 4 " lift shocks fitted and the down travel was pretty damn good, might be worth investigating.

Yer i no patrols fit, any twin eyelet shock will fit.
4 inch patrol is around a 700mm extended
so very long like 12 inch extended.
im after 9-10 inch extended.

i think that should fit :/ otherwise extended bump stops
