Recovery Points (front) and factory bumper

Popped to ARB to buy the recovery points and was told that I could not use them as the factory bumper would get in the way and I need a bull bar.
Anyone used the recovery points in anger with the standard bumper?

Thats odd. I run recovery points with a factory bumper. Goes nowhere near the bumper S

Sounds like they want more money out of you then just a pair of recovery points haha

I reckon so!!! Besides, tonnes of places sell recovery points, i wouldnt buy them from ARB, they are way overpriced.

Unless of course they mean when you are well stuck and want to be snatched out. The straps may rub on your bumper depending on the angle etc.

ARB told me early in the year that they don't have front recovery points to suit a D40. Oh and I have an ARB bulbar if that makes any difference.

Maybe try another store and see if that one gives the same story.
