Nah, he's never had a beard in my existence.

I am back working on the 16th, just give me a buzz when you have your next few days off.

well i had another go at getting some work done today with varied sucess
ive finished dual batt setup after installing abr sidewinder battery monitor
i then moved on to fitting efs lift kit i got from zordo
fitting front shocks required minimul grinding to uca's
a note on original front shocks
car is 14 mths old with 20140 ks
original front shocks are still on shed floor compressed for 7 hrs now and havent rebound
so we moved onto fitting efs torsion bars
easy enough ??
thats where it all went pear shaped, the same time as andrew turned up (blacknav):sarcastic:
after rolling back and forth and rechecking and adjusting height we thought all was good and fitted rear shocks (springs and shackles being fitted next week)
time to go for a gentle drive around block to settle everything
we got 1/2 way round block and i started gently turning left, right
BANG went the front right and dropped all the way to bumpstop
it turns out that when d/side t/bar cam adjuster was refitted it didnt sit correctly in chassis and popped out wrecking the spline on adjuster, t/bar is fine
hmm
hope central coast 4wd wreckers are open tomorrow
see attached pics

That look lke a lot of it would be in good nick for wrecking.

Hmm i wonder how much they would want for the front seats and console out of it

fitted cam adjuster today, and made sure it was located properly this time
$110 2/nd hand ,nissan wanted $190

Good to hear you got it all sorted Ian.

Work starts on your drawer this Saturday. I will have to get a sheet of ply in as there's not as many offcuts as i thought.

thismorning i fitted rear springs and shackles
i had to grind the large steel tube off from the front spring mount to get springs in, they are only fitted to later models according to zordo
i will dress up and refitt after wheel align
i am very happy with the improvment

so off i went for a wheel alignment at my local g**dy**r store
i explained to him over phone 2 days ago and also when i arrived a lift had been fitted and it will need more than just a std wheel align
no worries he sais,we can handle that, we do em all the time
lets book it in at 2pm should give us plenty of time to sort it out
pfffft (venting again )
his so called expert suspension guy put it on hoist
hmm
gees mate this things way out
yeah its just had a lift kit installed and we might need to readjust spline on passenger side t/bar as ime out of adjustment
something inside him turned off instantly(limp mode i think):suicide2:
seems they werent up to the challenge
or didnt want my money
i readjusted spline my self and will try again tomorrow for a wheel alignment somewhere else
