what is this section of the exhaust called

Gday guys

I have just bought a 3" genie exhaust for the ute. Now they have sent me out these parts.

But when i go to fit it i am running into trouble with the section i have highlighted below in the photo.

Am i missing a section?? according to the exhaust shop i am not.
P.S That isn't my exhaust, but it is off a d40
Any info would be great

Just reading some more and im not 100% sure, but because my car is a 2012 build it has no dpf? which in turn means that this exhaust won't fit. Yet they specified in the ebay ad that it would. fk!

Yeah you would be right the one you have is DPF back.
If yours is the same as the one in second photo you want a CAT back or one to suit a manual

it has the d clamp in the middle like that. Mine is auto though?
fkn why did they have to make so many changes ffs. Companies can't keep up with all the changes haha

Mine is manual and looks exacly like the second pick,
You could just go to a local shop and it would take them 5 mins to bend up the piece you need
