As of last night I own a 1983 KZ750S Kwakka. You dont get much for $385 but its a start. Been 20 years since I last owned a bike.

I feel a Bobber, or maybe a Cafe racer coming on. Or a Chopper,,, I dunno... Maybe I will just get it running and work from there. Maybe a resto if its still original, shit options !!!!

As best I can remember:
Tas 50cc; Deckson Daredevil; big gap (); Suzuki GSX250(N? - the "katana looking one"); Honda VFR500F; Honda CBR600F; 07 Daytona 675

Nice ride you have there dvsfpv, I like the way the red really shines in the sun. Oh yeah and nice bike to LOL.

nice ktm brebel, not many around in that sort of condition, how hard is it to start with the left hand kick lol i used to have a 89 ktm 350 2 stroke, great bike with awesome power but a prick to start on hills. love the service honda cr500 aswell, was pretty keen on getting one a while ago just think itl be abit too poerful for the tight trails i ride

If its in good tune, its actually easy to start, standing beside it using your right foot, but when all the planets arent aligned correctly its a bastard to start, oh how i wish it had electric start! still an awsome bike, the CR is really versatile because of the Recluse clutch.

I've been racing motorcross for the past 10 years, would love to get into the road bike scene but I can't justify it at the moment with my work roster.... Too many toys not enough time...

Here's a list of the bike's I've owned in order that I got them :)

199?? Z50
1996 CR80
2002 CR80 Big wheel
2001 YZ125
2003 YZ125
2005 CRF250
2006 CRF250
2008 YZ250
2010 RMZ250

Currently own.

2008 YZF450 (Set up for desert racing)
2011 CRF50 (Pit bike :D)

Coming soon will be the new race bike, 2012 RMZ 250

I'll try find some photos and post them up when I get a chance.

Cheers
Michael

Mmmmm some wikid bikes in here, I've had a couple over the years, cant wait till my little fella is old enough to ride so I've got an excuse for another dirt bike.

That soft tail looks the goods!

Started with one of those little suzuki 50 quads
1980 xr80 dual shock
97 cr80
93 cr125
01 yz250f
04 cbr600rr
05 cbr1000rr (Repsol colours was farken sexy!)

All gone now :( , I currently ride my old boys 2010 FatBoy which has lived at my place for 18 months. Pretty sure he doesnt want it back so I wont remind him. He has started collecting 1975 GL1000 LeadWings and doesnt have room for it so I have started adding bits and pieces to it here and there... Not complaining though!

KTM 525 2003 turned into a 540
and a CBR1000 2007 model

Hi there,

Like most have had many rides, current ride is a Yamaha YZF1000r Thunderace.

Nice Maddo, that would go like shit out of a shovel.
l ride a 2008 fatboy. im too old and decrepid for a sports bike these days.

Got a question for you trail biking Gurus.

I've just recently taken up dirt bike riding,(KLX140L) I'm having lots of problems riding in ruts, a mate told me to take my feet of the pegs and tap with my toes to keep balanced, this works ok going slow on the flat, but every time i hit a rutted hill where speed/momentum is needed I eat dirt.

What is the best method for a newbie rider?

Cheers in advance.

One of my favourite parts of riding is hill climbs, the more ruts the better.

My tips.

Pick the right gear. No higher than 3rd. Keep your revs up and speed constant!!
Stand up on your pegs, more on you toes than heels.
Shift your weight fwd so the front wheel doesn't bounce up and buck you off.
Pick your line early. Point the bars and look where you want to go. Have faith, the bike will follow.
Keep yourself upright and let the bike move undrneath you
And most importantly of all..... Choose your battles, don't mix ambition with capability
